Friday Night Live...
live art.
live music.
good people.
Friday Night Live is a monthly event that brings together live music and live art. Each event features a live music performance from a local artist. During the performance, featured artists create visual art inspired by and responding to the music. The work is auctioned off by a silent auction taking place throughout the evening. Join us for the evening as we explore the relationship between visual art and music in our beautiful spacious Duke Gallery set up cafe style.

She lived in Japan, Spain, Hawaii, and other locations before returning to Wilmington in the summer of 2014. “I like painting and drawing local scenes because it’s a great excuse to spend time outside and take lots of pics. I generally prefer buildings with a lot of angles, an interesting perspective, and a strong sense of light.”

“I enjoy working in a variety of materials, but metal casting is one of my absolute favorite methods! It is great for both creating jewelry and working with the figure. Although the lost wax casting method is certainly intensive, the results are extremely satisfying!”
Be sure to stop by our Gallery Case to shop our rotating collection of jewelry, ceramics, and gifts outreach, performances and special events.”
